CorkFhest 2022
At long last, the time is almost upon us. The eagerly awaited Corkhest 2022 will commence next Friday, July 16th. Starting in the Ferry Arms followed by a trek up the hill to Passage GAA where we are treated to tunes by Cork sensation Myles Gaffney.
You won’t have long to shake off the hangover as we go again the following day. A venture down East Cork to the coastal village of Ballycotton where Boat Trips to the iconic Ballycotton Lighthouse and Cliff Walking are also scheduled in the afternoon. That is all before our Main Event in the stunning Seachurch Venue. Rebel Superstar Eimhear Ni Ghlacaín will take to the stage after an opening from the legendary Cork ballad group – Finnegans Wake.
Its all coming together and a memorable weekend is anticipated. Something we feel will definitely break up what can be, a long summer for us during the off season. We can’t wait to meet up with old friends and make some new ones as Celtic Supporters Clubs from Germany, Switzerland, England, Scotland, The North of Ireland, and many throughout Southern Ireland all descending on the Rebel County. Batten down the hatches, we cannot wait to welcome you all. HH
