Kilmarnock Game in Midleton

A great day was had in Midleton, Co Cork last Sunday, August 9th as members met up to cheer on the Hoops in their clash away to Kilmarnock. Pity about the result, it looked very one dimensional from Celtic, particularly in the second half when we went in search for a winner. 2 points dropped but it’s still early days. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. We’ll go again Wednesday night against St Mirren. It was good to catch up with friends who most of us wouldn’t of seen in weeks or even months, due to the Covid Pandemic. Members travelled from Cork City, Youghal, Cloyne and elsewhere. The result was disappointing but the craic was had regardless. Thanks to Molly’s Bar, Midleton for their hospitality, the food was great!
