We recieved another visit from our friends from the Sunninghausen CSC as they decsended on Cork from Glasgow following Europa League heartache for BVB at Ibrox on Thursday. They got to take in activites like going to Turners Cross to see Cork City take on Galway United and were treated to some traditional Irish music in Cork’s City Centre. This was all rounded off by a big session in the Ferry Arms on Sunday to see a below-par Celtic slug their way to a draw against Hibs at Easter Road. However we did not let the result dampen our spirits. The drink was flowing and the craic was mighty. We’d like to wish Andre and the rest of the bhoys a safe trip back to Germany and look forward to welcoming them back to Leeside for the big party – Corkfest next July if not sooner.
